ALI-208: Quranic Perspective on Bibi Maryam (a)

The course will cover verses of Quran that talk about Bibi Maryam (a) and the model of feminine spirituality she embodies. We will also explore the Catholic beliefs about Bibi Maryam (a) and compare their beliefs to the Shi'ite belief about Bibi Fatima (a).

Dates: Tuesday evenings, Feb. 14th - Mar. 20th, 2012

Timings: 8.30 - 9.30 p.m.

1) All classes will be held at JCC 9000 Bathurst Street

2) Each course will last for six weeks.

3) There will be a $50.00 fees charge per course per student to ensure commitment from participants, and for supplies and partial donations to the Center.

4) Courses will only be conducted if there is a minimum of 10 registrations.
